A squeak I'm unsure of

When I make right turns, I am getting a squeaking noise coming from (what seems like) the drivers side front wheel area.

When I make left turns, no noise expression.

The noise seems to be getting progressively worse.

Asked my local mechanic, he wasn't sure, but I suggested the wheel bearing, and he stated it's a possibility.

Any ideas?

Too many moving parts in the front suspension/steering to make a guess over the internet- all of which are relatively easy to check or eliminate in person.

Not a bad idea to repack your front bearings if you've never done so- but the "squeak" could just as easily be the ball joint, tie rod end, sway bar linkage or strut upper mount.

Maybe you should inspect your suspension or have someone else inspect it. It's a standard maintenance item. See Haynes manual or the FSM from the FAQ.

Found this while searching for something else...

A squeek would make me look at bushings (rubber/polyurethane), mounts, and so forth.
