Angry Sputters at any revv then goes....

i'm sorry for being a post ***** but it's problems after problems with my car....

i was on a cruize last nite, and driving with a little speed and my car was doing great, i was pleased, but thats when things turned....

shortly after the smile on my face started to degrade, i would get off the gas and back on, everything was fine at approx 1/4 throttle or less, but if i gave it anymore gas at approx 2800rpm or higher it will sputter THEN go....

every time, and this creeped on my slowly, sputter and go, there's no happy medium, at any revv above 3000rpm'ish....

i'm too frusterated to think of more details, so i'll put them as i go....

Check codes, sounds a lot like the OMP problem I'm having with my car.

well, it's as if i drive it around for 15mins or so then it starts to do this....

could it be possible that it's comming to operating temps. or something and since my walbro is over flowing the stock fuel pressure regulator, that something could be up?...

Is it a sputter or more like a hesitation? Maybe you just answered your own question with your reply. Running rich can be just as bad as running lean. Too much fuel can wash away the lubrication from the oil injection.

If you think it's temperature dependent try and test the waterthermosensor on the back of the wp and air intake temp sensor on the TB elbow.

how do i test that sensor?...

it's more of a hesitation now that i think of it.... does it at any RPM, i also noticed that after i drove down a major road in the town to pick up my friend, we went back down the same and i pinned it in 5th and it felt slow as a turtle, as if the car wasnt turbo....

If it happens after 15 min, thats a BIG sign to me that its the OMP. Mine does the exact same thing. Check your codes, I'm fairly certain you'll find your OMP is faulty. Just need to replace it.

No point in speculating. Just pull the codes it takes a few minutes if even that. As long as you havent reset the ECU it should be stored in there, but the OMP code is tricky because it doesnt always make itself known through the CEL and is intermittent for some people.

Well you better take the initiative and look up how to check the codes before expecting anymore help. It's really easy just look it up.

It says you have an Autometer AFR gauge?
Which way does it move when you hit the hesitation?

Sounds like your 720 seondaries are the culprit...
I dunno if the GCC can tune for the crossover, but your set-up doesn't make any sense - F-CON, GCC, *and* S-AFC II???

Are you kidding me? I recommended you search on how to do it and you said you "I plan on it" but you are still asking how to do it?

Kinda like how some people have the 3800rpm hesitation except on a larger scale in a sense. Ted means that he isnt sure or not if the GCC adjust the fuel for the crossover between primary and secondary injectors but then again you said it occurs at any rpm above 2800rpm. I dont know anything about the FCON or GCC so I'll leave it at that.

It's the principle of it. You can't expect everything to be handed to you. You've been for a a little while and should know how things run around here. I at least gave you some feedback and didnt just tell you to search.
