springs and shocks

springs and shocks

ok so i just got in some tanabe springs 1.5 inch drop

now some one wants to sell me tien rear shocks brand new for $50 bucks

can i install the springs and just the rear shocks or would i also have to replace the front shocks too?

and im assuming $50 for 2 tien rear shocks is good?

you could put different springs on the rear, but why would you want to do half tanabe and tein?? and what kind of tein springs are they?

That sounds like a deal, make sure they have spring seats. I have Tanage springs, Gabriel struts in the front, and Monroe Sensatracs in the back. Its a stiff ride

Just get 4 new shocks, all of the same type. Buying used shocks is like buying used shoes, you'll most likely get someone's worn out crap.

and I second the whaa? Tien makes rear shocks for fcs? First I have heard of that.

I also second the buy 4 shocks of the same type.

From what I've been told, used springs are an ok risk, shocks n struts no way unless you know the person selling them to you and trust them
