Is the turbo 2 coil springs and the NA coil springs the same,someone said that the turbo 2 is thicker.

 

i believe the base model 2nd gens (86-88 se and 89-91 gtu) had a weaker suspension setup in general. springs and sway bars were beefier on the other models.


edit: now that i think about it...i dont remember if the springs were different. i know the sway bars are skinnier on the bases though. im sure someone can tell you

 

The factory service manual lists different springs for hard and soft suspension. The post above has the right hard and soft break down.
