spraying a s4 N/A

Obvesly i have found out that w/ out major engine work a N/A RX7 is quite limited on its drag racing potential while keeping it streetable. So to me the cheap easy solution of Nitrous seems a no brainer. The car in question that it might be going on is a 86 N/A with full exhaust, intake (just HKS filter), and magnacore 10mm wires. my friend who owns it and i are thinking of buying a hard pipe intake or fabing our own, and taping it for a wet-fogger system at 75 shot paired to a WOT switch w/ a cabin cut off for when on the street. of course we could just not hit the cut off when we role the streets too :] but does this sound like a good idea to you guys or is there a better way to go about blasting some giggly into a s4 FC?

thanks for the help

How often are you going to be using this as a drag car? It might be cheaper in the long run, and more fun, if you just swap in a turbo. I would say run around a 50 shot to be safe, and the kit for that would be fairly inexpensive.

If this is a solid drag car, there are many things you can do to the NA... there are myriad ports that you can run, ranging from street to peripheral... then you can run standalone, carbs, ITBs, there is a lot more than just nitrous and I/H/E to do to an N/A, it just is easier to run a turbo.. or god forbid, a V-8..

If you want good power for a daily driver, turbo is a great option.

A 75-100 shot is safe. Had a friend with an S4 who ran through countless bottles at that HP level.

Here's some good reading:
