...sorry if you've all seen it a thousand times, but I'm all giddy from cleaning her up and got a couple cool pictures I wanted to share. Let me know what you think...
Fresh after some polish and wax.

The camera I was using is a really really good camera ($1000), so it kinda shows off a few imprefections that I'd rather not show. But anyway, gimme a few minutes to resize the shots and upload 'em and I'll post them.

Round 2...
As you can see I was playing with that front shot headlight thing a lot, which one do you guys like best?
My favorite ended up in my sig...
The car was repainted before I bought it and when I got it it had red stripes on the side molding. Well, as you can see I removed it, and that's what it left. Unfortunately after I pulled the stripes I found that the old ones weren't removed before they repainted it. There was a couple spots where I had to use touch up paint to hide it. The car needs a paint job.
I like the purple glare thing goin' on in this one. When I was taking these a whitish vertical line showed up on the display, I was really hoping that it would show up in the pictures, but it didn't.
If it's still daylight tomorrow when I get off of work and the car is still clean I'll try to snap a few more shots.

Dude, she's a beaut!!
My wife and I spent Sunday detailing the '88 Red Vert we picked up last Friday. New High Output headlights, convertible treatment, Zymol wash & wax, leather treat....the works. Ran out of daylite and camera batteries otherwise I wanted to do the same as you did and take a few shots.
Walked into the office building this morning but before I entered I stopped, looked back and gave her a 2nd glance...co-workers just kind of glared at me.
Went to meet wife for lunch and met a late '70's 911 at an intersection. Noticed he was looking kind of hard as I cruised on thru past him on the thru road...then looking in the mirror I noticed he was still staring...gotta love it!!!

Thanks for the props guys!
Crosbo, yeah the car is sitting right out in front of my room right now and I can't help but go look at it from time to time. I'm especially bad when I'm walking away from it to go somewhere.
When the pics were taken with the FTP lenses lit up I was sitting in the car holding the brights on. :p
Node, the car is white! :p The lighting from the building right there has that neato glare on it.
RarestRX, actually I resized those to make 'em a bit smaller. They'd be way to big to post if I hadn't. I wish that grill was black, I really don't like it like it is. If I keep the car I'm going to have it repainted and the grill will be black.

Thanks for the props man.
I was really trying to think of a better place to take the pictures, but got tired of thinking and just started snapping.
One shot I was really trying to get was a shot from the back with a bit of a haze from the exhaust, but I couldn't get it to smoke enough. Maybe I should have started disconnecting plugs in the engine bay until I got the desired effect.

Man, now that I think about it I should take her downtown where there are lots of different sources of light and start snapping pictures.
All that glare off the car from all the lights would look sweet and I can find some really nice places for her to pose. I think I'll have to save that for later though, I don't have the camera with me anymore.
