speedometer readings are DOUBLE actual speed
all speeds, all rpms, all gears.
bought the car used, so I have no clue what the guy before me did...
no, it doesn't increase as a percentage, it is just straight out double. starts at 0 and just doubles all the way up till I've buried the tack at highway speeds.
any ideas?

no, it's in kph and it's meant to be in kph. speedo actually zeros at 20, and doubles from there (just double checked it).
guessing it could be the ratio thing with the gear driving the cable... ran into problems getting the steering wheel off (stripped bolts)..
