Speedo reads way to fast.

My speedo reads really fast. By the time im hitting 5 mph it is reading about 60 or 70 and tops out before i reach 10 mph.n Havn't taken the chance to look up how the speed hook up yet, im guessin to the trans. Anyone have that problem? gotta fix or replace?

Yeah these use cable driven speedometers so either your trans is messed up in regards to the speedo cable or (I'm guessing more likely) your speedo spring is screwed up. If I were you I'd look into getting a different speedometer or a whole gauge panel w/ one in it. They show up fairly frequently in the parts section.
