I bought the car a year ago, the speedo cable was broken, fixed that, but the speedometer reads about 10-13 mph to high at any speed. The odometer seems to have magically stopped at exactly 100,000 miles. Also, it beeps 2 times ... then repeats. I dont have power steering, and have searched this topic. Is my speedometer itself broken?? Any help is appreciated. Also, the beeping only happens ounce in a while.

 

Two beeps means the tach isn't working properly.

Are the gauges hooked up?

 

yep, all the other guages work fine
