speedo gear leaking

speedo gear leaking
Hi; I have a 89 auto....have tranny fluid leaking from the speedo gear housing. When I replace the seals, should I replace the O rings as well? or just the cable sleeve. And is it a easy thing to change out? I expect some fluid to leak, but will it slow? or continue till I place the new sleeve back in.
