Speedo Disconnect
Just got out from under my car, greasing up my keyboard right now, where I found out why my speedo hasn't worked for the past couple of days. It appears that the cable is disconnected and through all my attemtps to reconnect it to the transmission it just won't thread through. It might be that it's been hanging and hitting the ground for a couple of days so it got banged up and won't rethread... anyways my question is if there is any trick to threading it back on, I didn't read any in my haynes manual, or if I'm fooked and I have to get a whole new speedo cable?
Heres a pic I took of it really quick when I was under there.

Is the cable sticking out of the housing??
If its not, You've got to get a new one. My housing came off the same as yours (I was in the middle of a racing a 318 when it broke) and the cable came out from inside the housing from the day of bouncing off of asphault. I got a replacement cable and housing from Banzaitoyota, I dont know if he's got another one. Give him a PM, tell him I sent ya
