Special Fluids
hey, This is my first time with a brand new engine and i a tryign to take my best care of it. I have been looking on lots of sites and seeing highly prices specialty fluids, ill list them here, i was just wondering if anyone here has any experience with them , and if you guys think theyre worth the money.
1)evans NPG+ coolant : http://www.hrpworld.com/index.cfm?fo...action=product
2)the whole line of redline fluids
3) i saw rotary engine oil on a site but i cant find the link now, If not that than what do you guys suggest as far as oil form the beginning of an engines life? I only say that because there are some oils (mobile 1 ect..) that can cause damage if they were not used form the beginning.

1. The reason I haven't bothered with Evans is what if you have a problem in the middle of no where and need coolant?
2. As for using redline or one of the other premium fluids for trannys and diffs, I wouldn't obscess about it too much. Get a 75W90 full synthetic and be done with it. These are old cars, many with high millage and they've last that long with what is most likely their original fluid.
3. Rotary oil? That's news to me. Just pick a quality oil with the right viscosity. There are lots of threads on this and Icemark has repeated posted testing data that can help you decide.
