i want to install new speakers in my car, the previous owner probably blasted the music very loud. when i took the speakers out the check them out, they broke to pieces like burnt paper. *sigh* haha anyways, the front are 5.5 inches in diameter and the rear speakers are 4 inches in diameter when i measured it. Is it possible to have bigger speakers if i want to replace them? or do i have to have the correct size?

 

You should have 61/2 in the doors and some 7s had plates that went over the rear strut towers to fit 61/2 back there as well. My car came with 4in. in the rear and i just got the other ones to fit 6 1/2 from a buddy. Unless you just want to stick 8 in. woofers back there.
