spark plugs question!!

ok so i need to get my car smogged and i put back on the stock intake and i need to fix an exhaust leak to pass smog for sure but i would also like to do my much needed 60k tune up along with it.

so i was wondering: what would be a good spark plug rating or what ever for the rx7? oh and by the way i have a 87 na fc

so just go up to a parts store and as for spark plugs for my car and use them? there isnt a better spec, like would it make a difference if i got plugs that burned hotter or not really?

Yes, any competent auto parts store should be able to look up your specific vehicle and tell you exactly which spark plugs you should buy.

only use NGK.. and make sure you open the boxes to ensure you don't get 4 leading plugs or 4 trailing ones..this happens to me every time I get new plugs..

You want 2 of each...

wow, ok. so theres two type of plugs??? damn ok are they suppose to look different? b/c the plugs i got from an auto parts store they all look the same ****, that might be the reason why i car runs like ****. also anyone have actual pix of the leading and tailing plugs???

The plugs will physically look the same but will have a T and an L on them for leading and trailing.

I used NGK plugs on my '86 N/A recently.
BUR7EQ for Leading and BUR9EQ for Trailing.
Trailing = Top
Leading = Lower
The ends don't look like a normal spark plug electrode..
Here is a picture of some 7EQ's I replaced:

And one of them has a ble ring around where the wire plugs on it, im not sure which one, just make sure two have it and two dont
