Arrow Spark Plugs Pitch Black

OK Ive searched and saw some pics but none of them looked like mine. Every 3 days i have to pull the plugs and clean them because theres to much black stuff building up on them that wont let it fire. I will put pics up tomorrow. Could this mean I'm running rich?

Or that your oils seals are out of your turbo and that is oil residue.

If it's pure black and sooty, then you're running rich.
If it's black, crusty, and wet, it's oil burning.

From your brief statement, I will say that you are burning oil.
culprit?
You're either blowing oil past your oil seals (brittle/cracked o-rings) or from your turbo. To check the turbo, look in the intercooler piping for oil. Stock top mount? try pulling off the intercooler and looking inside or tilting it to see if oil drips out.

Pics would help a lot.
We should be able to pretty much nail down which of the two is the culprit.

Oil burning imo. Is you OMP jammed open? S4 or S5?

Oil seals on the turbo, not oil seals on the engine, is what I think was meant. Was the turbo rebuilt along with the engine? What kind of smoke in the exhaust, if any? Does it smell like a gas station, or a 23 year old abused honda?

i think its the turbo but i pulled the intercooler and no oil. I also think its running rich beacuse my tps and bac arent adjusted right. .i dont have an exhuaast im drivin with and open down pipe waiting for exhuast to come in mail. Turbo wasnt rebuilt with engine. Is the S5 and s4 downpipe the same and how can i tell if the turbo is bad before buying it..

Did you check your timing? Timing can cause excessive carbon build up.. and sooty plugs.

Is it smoking when boosting, thats usually when its your turbo seals...

The oil is being pushed into the exhaust and burning there... not in the motor.
I think, could be wrong though... Usually smoking after a hard pull...

Are you running premix? what ratio are you mixing, maybe too much?

Good luck

Yes im premixing but i go on what is says on the bottle. I think it says 1/2 an oz for every gallon i reved the engine up to 4 gran and all i saw was the smoke from the premix. My timing is dead on checked that like 5 times.

Huh, I run about 1oz to 1 gallon premix and it doesn't smoke much at all.

There is oil in your compression chamber and there's no oil in the intake tract, I'd say its your oil control rings, since you have no OMP...

Good luck.
