Spark Issue *SEARCHED* `
Well Okay today I push teh 7 out to start it. well first thing I notice is the Tachios not owrking. so I get out and pull th traling wire off the plug and ground it... no spark. Well I chekc the leadings and no spark as wehll what do you think theproblemis guys?? I'm movingnect week and need this ifxed
If your tach isnt working then it also relates to your coils not working. If you find that the fuse is blown, then I would suggest finding the short. Look for any wires, plugs that need to be connected. Search for...engine fuse blown...and it should point you in the direction of all things associated with the fuse.

If all else fails, this is my post from a few months back. With much help from HAILERS and others, I found the problem.

okay I went and poped a new fuse and I got inthe car to start it and I notice smoke a tiny amount coming from my fuse block under the hood. then the fuse bunrt outso what the poroblem?? I'm srry for asking all these questions but electical is not my fancy.
The EGI COMP fuse feeds the EGI COMPUTER but a dozen other things also. I would check the EGI COMPUTER last.
Most of those shorts are found at the split air solenoid or the Port Air Solenoid on the ACV.
Other solenoids that it feeds are on the left side of the engine with the colored connectors plus the power steering switch. Each of those colored connectors has two wires, one of which is black/white which is fed by the EGI COMP fuse.
The wire that leaves the EGI COMP fuse at the engine fuse box is White with a Blue stripe. It goes to the Main Relay. When the power leaves the Main Relay the color of the wire changes to the Black/white color from then on.

disconnect all the solenoid connectors under the oil filler neck and try it again, if it pops then the problem is likely some wires in the harness have grounded out or chafed together somewhere in the harness. if the fuse does not pop then plug the solenoids in one by one until it pops, then you have found the fault solenoid.

No one can help you if you don't post the correct information. If you see smoke, then you have a fairly large short somewhere. Proceedures for finding this have been posted before. The first step would be to find out which wire is getting hot and smoking, and then trace that circuit.
If you don't know what all this means, go to the local library and pick up a book on automotive electrical systems.

It may involve disassembling one or more harnesses.
