Sparco Seat help

hey whatsup people, last weekend i went to sparco's annual sale and I bought 2 sparco seats for $600
and a shift **** for $40. plus they gave me in-n-out for free. so ya it was pretty cool. but the problem is I cant find a good place to get the sparco seat mounts for my 87 FC. i went to a local car shop and they told me they were $180 for each seat mount! thats sounds a little too much. can anybody tell me where i can get a good price for them? thanks

If you decide to go cheaper, you could always modify your stock rails and get them to fit that way. Just some metal and some welds and you're golden. Get the measurements and it should be a cinch for someone to fab up.

Google "wedge engineering" they make brackets for all aftermarket seats to go in just about any car. IIRC they are about $75 each and you should be able to install them yourself.

When I put my Mazdaspeed seats in, I made the brackets with medal bar from home depot cost me probly about 20 bucks if I remember right. Theres a post from a long time ago that I left on installing these. search I will try to find it. Meanwhile heres some pics of my seat in my car.

damm that sounds a little tricky by getting a metal bar from home depot. when i bought my TII it came with 2 APC seats and the rails it came with dont fit the sparco seats beaucse the holes dont match and the rail is too long. so with your way it says u used the OEM sliders so i dont think itll work that way for me.

well on the bars you drill new holes for the OEM sliders. Thats what I did and just cut the bar length with the OEM sliders still install, All you do is line measure and drill. Use a skill saw with a blade that cuts metal(available at HD too.)

um... lemme try to do a sketch BBL

tell me the exact dimensions of your seat mounting holes and i will make a set of oem sliders to fit YOUR seat. it's even cheaper if you send me your stock sliders..

the new stock sliders will sit even lower than you oem ones.....especially on the passenger side..

here's an add i placed for 11x13" seat mounts. not all mounts have this bolt pattern so you may need to take some EXACT MEASUREMENTS...

I GUARANTEE:

-the seats will be centered from left to right between stock mounting holes (unless you desire otherwise due to width restraints)

-that the seats will sit level from left to right (rears may be lower due to roof clearence constraints)

-if you have 11x13" seat mounts....turnaround time is one day. custom is a different story, but i will work in a timely manner.

I swap the stock sliders around because i think the passenger side is better made, so i put it on the drivers side. other than that, everything will appear stock.

i will also move the mounts to fit closer or further than stock mounts for short or tall people.
