Sparco rails for an FC?
well, i got a used sparco off a friend for pretty cheap, but I cant seem to find any way to mount it into my car. i tried to make some simple mount for the stock sliders, but there wasnt seem to be enough room for bolts to go into the seat, and also have room for the sliders to attach. anyway, if someone can show me an easy way to do this or even a place where i can just BUY a slider/bracket, that would be great.
thanks!
thanks!

has anyone ever used something like this?
http://www.sparcousa.com/pseats_acc.asp?id=154
it doesnt have sliders so would you put it on top of the stock ones? i imagine that would make it sit like.... 4 feet in the air.

There's some good threads on aftermarket / race seats if you do a search.
The consensus seems to be that any aftermarket pre-made bracket is going to make the seat sit pretty high.
This is especially true for side-mount seats.
I got a Sparco Evo2, and recently picked up a set of brackets - Sparco side-mount brackets and Wedge Engineering adapter rails.
It all bolts together, but it's fricken' HEAVY (was trying to save weight going race bucket) and sits pretty damn high (was trying to lower my seating position).
I haven't bolted everything in yet, but I'll drop a new thread about this whole saga when I do.

You almost have to either bolt everything down to the floor or go with a custom rail to bolt everything in.
