sparco, momo, recaro, tenzo R, WHICH ONE???

i REALLY want to get new racing seats for my FC.

my car is black and i am thinking about yellow or red.

what brand do you guys prefer???

keep in mind i am on a budget.

i am figuring momo is probably the best but is also the most expensive. tenzo R has a seat for $169.

i dont want a seat that reclines.

any ideas?

tenzo R seats look pretty good,
and they are cheap, would be a good choice if u r on a budget,
but definitely try to seat on one if u have to decide,
u know a seat is pretty important

I'd want reclining...I prefer comfort rather than a stiff back

my recaro spg required tiny little modification on the stock FC sliding bracket only, saved me another $60

quality of recaro are pretty good, it's gonna be a little expensive comparing to like tenzo R, but u know, it's RECARO

Recaro and Sparco are the absolute HIGHEST quality of seats available, recaro has been around forever and is well renowned and respected, sparco also makes an awesome product. Sparco has a selection of non reclining seats as well has brackets for the FC, so as to make the installation as easy as possible.

get SPARCO's.... they've got a lot of different styles and if you don't want it to recline, then get the 'speed' model. The nicest one are probally the 'torinos' they recline with a tall stand. go on their site anc check them out. I don;t know how much you wanna spend but your probally lookinga t about $400 - $600 each seat.

$1500 for a seat that weighs 6 pounds! You have got to be out of your mind to buy some **** like that.

But, which of the seats are most comfortable? Is it true that some racing seats are not comfortable for a long drive?

Momo is supposed to be introducing new Street Racers. Maybe the old ones will go closeout. That is what I am hoping for. THis is the best price I found for Momo Street Racers. They are $50-100 cheaper than anyone else.

Howbout Corbeau Carreras? I am planning to get them for my vert and apparently quite a few respectable marques use Corbeau as OEM "sports seats" (e.g. Lotus)

They're made in England, so probably a bit of preference for them from Lotus. My bro has them and doesn't like them, but he's about 6' and 300lbs! They are a little narrow for him, needless to say.

if its gonna be your daily driver you might want to spend more $$ on it and get a reclining seat thats comfy. definately think about that

you dont want to spend hundreds of hours on a well built seat that is gonna kill your backside.

i would probably get something that reclines a little since i'm a bit tall, and definately try to sit in one before you buy it. im thinking about sparco torino's
