spacers and fender roll

Have a set of FD wheels, 225/50/16 (toyo proxes z1) up front and 245/45/16 (michelin pilot sport cups) in the rear. Was planning on running 20mm spacers all around. Spacers are hubcentric to the wheel and lug centric to the hub. Would just like to know if i will be needing to roll the fenders in the front from the 20mm spacers if so ill get 15mm spacers. I am fairly positive from my searching that the rear should be just fine my only concern is the front.

Honestly, there's no legitimate reason to use spacers on your setup. The only reason you'd want to mess with spacers is if your wheels have a poor offset. Likewise, fender rolling should be reserved for applications that necessitate it; otherwise, you're risking messing up your paint on the fenders for no legitimate reason.

Thats the thing i do not want to roll my fenders. And my wheels do have a poor offset for an FC.

agreed, fd wheels+fc chassis=bad offset. Maybe 10mm upfront and 20mm in the rear.

You'll NEED spacers in front for those wheels, 20mm will give you the perfect 30mm offset for an 8" wide wheel and 225 tire in front, no rolling needed. 20mm out back should work out fine too.

i have FD wheels on my FC...for a few years now.

a minimum is 20mm up front. with only 225/50's my tires rub the springs still. i have a 25mm in the rear with 225 tires also. no problem there. with some room. i would definitly go 25 mm up front atleast... and i say again, i already have these on my car.

oh also, i have a 1 inch drop. but even before i lowered it, the FD wheels still rubbed the springs with the 20mm spacers. they only started rubbing the fenders after i lowered it. so if you car is lowered at all, roll the fenders. wish i did before i fucked them up...
