sound dampening& interior installation

I have a black s5 n/a that has been hit but runs and i got a red s5 n/a that has no motor or trans but all the interior was stripped out and layed inside the car. Of course im gonna swap the motor which is no problem and i have no questions yet. Althought I have never torn the interior out of a fc and i was wondering if there are any write ups on doing it. If not i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on some good stuff for muffling any sounds and what not but i think i can figure out the dash and stuff because i always have another car to compare to

There is a write-up in the archives about removing the dash. The rest is straight forward.

Sound deadening is very expensive. There is several discussions about this in the interior and audio section of the forum. You may want to check it out. Actually one of them was sticky.
