i have an 87gxl n/a that would never start by cranking with the starter so i had my friend push me with hi car and it started, i drove until all the atf was out-now before i had my friend push me i had fried my starter, now i have a new one-now that my 7 has startd by pushing it will it start
with the starter now, or do i have to push it again(i am asking because i havent put my new starter in yet

 

I fried the starter on my car too, but I was soo flooded that it wouldn't push start. Then I put a new starter in and did the ATF trick. It started right up with a little bit of smoke. haha Smoked out all of my neighbors. Everything has been fine since.
