Yes, I really like the new Falken tires... I have them up front with Nitto 555s in the rear.
And yes, the line on the strut brace is the oil feed for the turbo.
The car is my daily driver. I just picked up a SE for driving around most of the time, but i need a motor for it first. I will be going to the drag with it though here and there.
The fuel lines arent as low as they look... The exhaust is waaay lower... it just appears that way in the pic.

Must be my imagination playing tricks on me...but does the motor in the first shot look like it's not lined up straight???? It looks like it's twisted a little counter clock wise.

Haha, I am deciding on a wing right now, i ran with no wing last summer and getting the car running was more of a priority than that. I got another belt too... my buddies shredded so we took one off my car for him to get home.

Most of you guys in the states run some pretty weird rollcage designs, one of the main features of a rollcage is to make the car rigid, this means mounting points on both the front and rear shock tower, ie: you get out the grinder, hack off those stupid speaker mounts and put the back stays onto the rear strut towers, i'd put money on it that your car would still flex if you jacked up one end of it.
In NZ, we have very strict cage designs which must be adhered to, if they aren't followed you cant get onto the track or you cant get homologation for the cage which means you cant run in anything.
I will post some pics which i have had taken to get my cage homologated. they will be found at
http://strx7.250x.com/rollcage.htm
once i scan them and upload them - ie: about an hour after i post this message

And I did basically all the work, including the cage, the mounts for the FD motor, I did part of the porting, I had to have part of done by someone who is more experienced with the port i had chosen . And I also had him pin the motor while he had it. I built the manifold, the ic piping, the exhaust... all that fun stuff.

My brother got some for our (his now) 87 Toyota MR2 (n/a). I autocrossed the car 3 times on the tires (once in the rain). I have a friend with another mr2 who was having some rod knock, so he was co-driving my car while his was getting fixed. He is a good driver for his experience (a lot better than me, at least).
His opinions on them were that they were the best rain tire he's ever seen. He got top time of the day in a car that wasn't his (stock 87 mr2) by about 3 seconds. On the dry days he came within 3 seconds of top time. He said he was most likely going to get them for his next tires.
The sidewalls on them are very stiff and the grip is unbelievable (especially in the rain). They only broke loose on me once during the rain event and it was very easy to get it back under control. The only problems I could see with them is that they might be heavier than other sport tires and that they don't give off a lot of sound when breaking traction, so it made it kind of hard for me to tell when I was braking too much.
In the size I got (195/60?/14) they were $43 a tire. Larger sizes get more expensive, but are still very competative in prices, as far as high performance tires go. I'm planning on getting them when I get new wheels (s4 tII wheels are too heavy for my taste).
I highly recommend them.

That is one hell of a setup, that snail is huge!
HWO, I agree about the cage design, but I have a feeling that's more of a drag cage than anything. It's definitely not legal for American amateur road racing, too many points. I like your setup, pretty much the same way mine is. Can you post more of the passenger area? Here's mine: http://www.lcaf.com/silk/RX-7/RX-7_P...-7_part_2.html
