first, thought it was my waterpump. so i replaced it. then i filled it with coolent, and started it up.. absolutly nothing happened.. but coolent started pouring out of somewhere that i couldnt even see. its a 1988 tii. any suggestions? thanks

 

Find out where the coolant is coming from. Many times you can fill the system totally then squeeze a rad hose to force coolant from the leak.

 

check all hose clamps to ensure they are on right......

 

why would that mean you blew your motor?
