when ive tried to use a test lamp on my tps, only one bulb lights up. I know its not adjusted correctly though because ive messed with the screw a lot and it just stays with one light on. Im really confused with what is going on. i adjusted it and everything seemed a lot better until thismoring, the car cold starts terribly! it idles from 1000 to 1500 really fast with quick revs and then stalls. the only way i can get around it is if i hold it at 3000 rpms for a bit and then let off and it idles ok. Also from 1000 to 2000 rpms. it sounds like its missing very badly or like its bogging down, but anything over that seems fine.

Does anybody know what could be up with my tps?
could it be the diagnostic connecter?
and would the missing be related to the tps?

Clip an ohmmeter on the TPS to test if it gives a smooth repeatable sweep in values.
It may be worn out.

 

anybody know whats going on in between 1000-2000 rpms?
