They're pretty quick. How do you know the one you raced was a GSR or TypeR?

i had a GSR, but it got stolen last week, i was running about 14.5-14.7 with intake exhaust FPR and CM stage 3 clutch and flywheel. GSRs (94-01) are 170hp, ITRs (97-98, 00-01) are 195hp. 0-60 times for an ITR are a bit lower than 7.3...my friends LS (non VTEC) does it in about 7 flat with intake and exhaust.

First of all, its VTEC, not VTECH....

And the Integra with the VTEC B18 engine is on par with a stock TII.....

I think this thread falls into the same category as the "can I beat X car with my n/a?" and according to the mods it belongs here.

My friend has raced 2 ITRs w/his 02 Mustang GT (driver and 2 passengers). I know its a "rustang" or whatever but Im just using it as an example. His best time 1/4 was 13.9 (intake, exhaust, some kind of chip). One of the integras was on the freeway and we were going up hill. I figured we would destroy it (mustangs torque) but it stayed about 1 car length behind and we started inching away at like 130-140.

Second ITR was on a backroad late at night. Same mustang w/3 people total in the car. This one wasnt as fast as the last one, but it still put up a good fight.

I dont think the integra was vtec and if it was I doubt it was actually trying to race. My n/a (intake, exhaust, header) and my friends Integra LS (intake, exhaust, clutch) would be pretty close in a race.

ya, ITRs really kick *** on the freeway in my opinion they have the best gearing i have ever seen.... race an ITR or GSR lightly modded from a stop.... do not race from a 30 or 40mph cuz if there just as fast as you they will eat you... my friends b20vtec from a stop ill eat him up ( race to 90 only ) but if we do a 40-90 or 40-110 roll on he will eat me alive.... hondas 3rd gears seem to be REALLY strong... so good idea if you gotta race a honda try it from a stop and hope you dont bog.
