Someone Please Kill Me! Can Anyone Help Me?

So I finally get my car almost to perfection after my little project and was adjusting my idle. For some dumb-*** reason I let my friend adjust the screw on the BAC valve while I watched the tach. Well, I guess he did not understand what I was talking about because he started turning the rich/lean idle mixture screw. Needless to say, the car will no longer idle at all. It just stumbles and dies. Can I pull this out and reset it back to normal somehow or will I have to buy a new one. Someone please help me. This is a major letdown after being so close to having my car behave exactly the way it should!

Just keep turning the R/L screw 1/4 turn at a time until it starts running?

Isnt that just a potentiometer (variable resistor)?
The one by the passenger strut tower?
If so, it only rotates thru' 270 degrees. Just try different settings, then tiny adjustments to get it spot on when its running good.
