Some sort of leak, thinking coolant....

Today, after moving my car, I noticed a very interesting thing. A milky white and oily substance puddled beneath my car. At first, I freaked because I've read here that milky white=coolant. However, upon closer inspection, after touching and smelling this... stuff, I became quite puzzled. It was greasy and smelled greasy, as well. So now I'm thinking something on the driveshaft side of things... gear lube or something, maybe... any ideas? I can get some pictures, too, need be.

thanks fellas.

I took some pics of it. Sorry about the rain, I couldn't make it go away...

Looks like oil film mixed with rain water. Your best clue would be to consider what part of the car the puddle was under.

See, that's kinda what I originally thought, but it was the smell of grease that made me think otherwise. I'm not home anymore, either, so I've got to do some detective work, I guess.

Thanks for the inpout.
