I didnt do any sanding to the IM and other stuff, but I went over it really well with a nylon wheel drill bit. It worked very well to clean it up, get all the dirt and grease off. Then I just sprayed them with a high-temp metallic black. I baked them under a heat lamp, but that probably wasnt necessary. I think it looks pretty nice, and I will be waiting to put them on until I get my Streetport. If you look at the close-up pic of my wheel the calipers are painted that color also, as well as my strut bar and wiper arms and stuff. The contrast between the metallic back and polished aluminum under the hood should look very nice once Im done Thanks for the compliments

Looks great! I love the vert BBS rims. I just received my BBS rims as well.

Good luck! Kerry

Yea, I've always really liked them, and I found a set in near mint condition, I'm pretty happy. Plus they are very light, something I'll need in my quest for a fast N/A

The BBS wheels are a steal! I weighed a wheel and tire and the total weight was 22#s! That is less than some wheels alone. I really like the painted manifolds and stuff; I'll be interested to see how they hold up over the next year or so. The dynamic chamber actually gets cold to the touch when cruising so heat shouldn't be an issue. The thermo housing gets preaty hot though. Anyhow, that looks nice.

I hauled those wheels in my truck. I feel special.

Looks good. Did you use a flash on the camera? Seems a little dark, maybe I'll bring my camera down and take a few.

Yea, i think the flash went off, it was on auto so I dunno though. I think the wheels look great, but would be even better if the car was about 1.5" lower.... That wheel gap is horrendous

Those wheels compliment yer silver car well. Never been a fan of silver 7's, but they really set it off.
