Some noise after having fun... (help needed)

Well I had a fun time with some friends about 2 days ago (on my birthday) just ******* the ever loving **** out of our cars in an abandon walmart parkinglot in Alabama.

(I know, not the safest or smartest thing to do, but I havn't had fun like that in a few so... slap on the wrist if you must, hell it was my birthday and we had fun and no one was hurt.)

I wish I didn't do it now because on the drive back a friend pointed out that there was a sound coming from the car, I thought he was hearing things. Well, after I left for home I heard it right under the center of the car, kinda right or a little ways above the shifter is under the car, a rattling bumbing and whining noise all kinda in an orgy together. It happened alot at first now the sound happens only when in gear or pushing in the clutch, sometimes I can hear it if I accel real fast.

I looked around searching forums and sites and I kinda figure it's a bearing in the clutch, but I want to make sure before I blow around 300 bucks and not have the noise fixed. My friend said I mite be missing a teeth in the tranny, but It runs great and shifts real smooth still, nothing wrong in that area I think, another said it could be a loose tranny mount but I don't think so or it would make the noise when I hit a bump or something, not just when the clutch is pushed in. Kinda sucks cuz all my birthday money I grabbed up will be used to fix this, but I rather have a smooth noise free car again, than a hellish noise and "sweet mods".

Any help would be great.

I also thought if its the throwout bearing it generally would get quieter when the clutch is pushed in try it a few times in and out in neutral

Does it do it all the time or does it go away when the clutch is pressed to the floor?

I was thinking driveshaft until you said it happens when you push in the clutch, I guess pilot bearing?
