OK...here's the deal. Jef Card and I chased Buddy down and pulled him over a few weeks ago. He had the stripes, some lights, and that awful wing on it, but besides that it was completely stock. He was headed in a very ricey direction. It was quite funny because when we met him he was complaining that he could not beat many people in a race. We fixed him...
...with an electric fan, some weight reduction, etc.
Then he found out about j-spec motors. So I bought his aluminum hood from him because my steel hood was very heavy, hence his stripes on part of my car. I kinda like them on just the hood, but definitely not on the whole car. That's the only rice I have, and I suppose maybe the reverse image "Slower Traffic Keep Right" on my windshield, but that's not there to be ricey at all. People (especially in CA) **** me off. They think that because they drive a big *** vehicle (read Suburban, Expedition, SUV) they are completely free to stay in the leftmost lane for their entire journey down the freeway, so the sticker is too kindly remind them of the law.
Buddy drove to Utah with my old hood on his car and picked up the T2 hood you see in the pictures. So the plan is to swap a j-spec in his car in about 2-3 months.
Please do not say MY car is rice. I'd appreciate it.

For the sake of RX-7 convertible owners everywhere, especially the white ones, save him by ripping that wing off the back deck. PLEASE

BaHumbug! My car has stinkin stripes on it as of right now. But not as of tomorrow. I got one off yesterday and will get the other off tomorrow. It's kinda a pain in the but to get them off.
<----- That's what I'm talking about.
Then aiming for paint job in spring. Figure I ought to let the current one face the winter.
