Some help please.

I just recently purchased a 10th Anniversary Rx-7 and i have some concerns..

For example on a REALLY hot day, my car feels totally underpowered.. I have to floor the gas to even get a small amount of acceleration, to the point where i almost stall if i'm not paying attention.

Another problem is my boost never goes to 4pounds only goes about 3/4 up but never to top, is that normal?

Thank you

Tohru

Also..

When slowing down and my rpm drop my car starts to shake and bounce a whole lot, feels like i'm stalling while moving.... does that have anything to do with anything?

Thanks

Bad o2 sensor, clogged cats, mis-adjusted TPS, Wrong plugs, weak or bad plug wires.

More than likely in that order if the car has more than 90k on it.

Cats, as in catalytic converters, which number 3 underneath your car. There are two pre-cats and a main cat. Personally, i would take the pre-cats off. The main cat is the only one you really need to pass inspection. The plugs refers to your spark plugs. If they get fouled, then your car will have problems with driveability. Theres two leading and two trailing plugs on the driver side of the engine. the two leading plugs go on the bottom and the two trailing plugs go on the top. Get ngk plugs, there the only quality ones out there. Hope this helps.
