Mounting fog lights......again
So I want to mount my fog lights in a different place now. Now I want to put them in the brake cooling ducts. However I can't seem to find a good way to mount them there without removing the front facia all together.
The only method I have with the front still attached is to use the adhesive strips that came with the lights. nyone have experiences with this? The lights weigh MAYBE a pound at most. Do you think the adhesive strips would work? I figure if they come with the kit they should be fine, but I'd like personal experiences.

I think that's too low for fog lights in my opinion... and they will get smashed up easily that low. But without taking off the bumper, you can't mount anything in there with screws and drilling... you can try the tape. I don't think it will work that well, but if they supply it with the lights [like they do with some] it must work somehow. I would just mount them in the middle grille, worked fine for me on my '86 GXL.

Yea I have my old ones mounted behind my grill in the middle. Looks cool, but I wanna different look.
I thought it may be too low, but the 89-81 RX-7 have their fog lights mounted there.
Just for ***** and grins, I took one of the fog lights and some adhesive and attached it to my metal bed post over night. That sucker is on there great. I could not get it off without pull really damn hard. And even then it was a bitch.
Oh well, i'll do it and see how it goes.
