Some good news today...
Some good news today...
I am writing this in this section, because I know alot of people in here. The lounge is more for people to just chat, but this is mainly for the FC owners who know me.
Well everyone, I just wanted to announce some good news to you all, especially since some of you guys and gals know me personally. Besides this is way easier than emailing all the people individually tell you about it =)
As some of you know from my previous posts regarding the Project 86 and its sale, I have been looking for a house to buy for the last couple of months now. Well, last Thursday I made an offer on a very nice almost new house in Temecula, CA and yesterday they accepted it! I go into escrow probably Monday or Tuesday. So that is some really great news for Melisa and I...
Which brings me to my second part o this. Tonight, while watching the finale of the local fireworks display, I proposed to Melisa and she accepted! Now I am getting married and getting a new house! Our target date for the wedding will be late next August, 2003.
I hope everyone had as great of a day as I did this memorable 4th of July! Thanks for listening.

Congrats man, I hope everything works out for you and you definitely know that everyone is on your side when anything happens. I don't know about you having the best 4th though mine was pretty outrageous.

Congrats on both happy occurances.
Thanks everyone.
Yes the house has some really good A/C. The owner is a contractor, and when the house was built, he added 41 rolls of insulation to their already installed 41 rolls of insulation in the house
The A/C unit is upgraded to one that is designed for a 3000sqft house (this one is only 1900) so it cools quite well!
The garage is very nice. Very big and lots of forward space in front of the cars for tables, shelves, engine stands etc. Here is a picture of it

Looks like a nice place.
Yeah that's no lie there vaughnc. When we went to look at the house, we met them there right as they got home. When we went inside, it was probably about 78F or so. They turned on the A/C and within 5 minutes the house was below 70F. They then shut off the A/C and it remained cold until we left about an hour later
I can't wait!! I'm going to have pics of the garage setup when I get in it. I have to setup my rebuild area all over again, but with another half of a garage of space to enjoy
(I'm in a single and a half garage now)

When I told my realtor what we were looking for, the first thing out of my mouth was "2 or 3 car garage minimum"
She just laughed and said, "would you like a house attached to that?"
