Some Extra HP
Hey guys, I just picked up my first RX7 last saturday. I am thrilled with the vehicle, its a lot of fun to drive. I was looking for some quick easy things I could do to gain some extra HP. I already installed a cold air intake and replaced all the plugs and wires, i was just wondering if there were any tricks of the trade i could pick up from the forum. thanks

idk about quick and easy things for more hp but what i find kind of fun is weight reduction. pitch everything that is unnessasary.. it's as good as hp.. less is more. but umm do a quick tuneup change the fluids all that good stuff first. clean air filter.. all that

alot of general maintance should be done first to ensure the state the car. You would be surprised what a full tune up can do for a 20 year old car.

For an NA, all you can do is intake and exhaust. I recommend the RB downpipe)or header) and presilencer with the catback of your choice. Any decent catback will have similar gains, so its based on the sound.
If you want more, you have to rebuild the motor and get it ported. That or a standalone, which is kinda overkill on a stock motor.
