well was just down at KDR today...my motor is really hurt.....has to do something with the fuel system....maybe fuel pump gave out....or also maybe a bearing broke in the engine....also when they looked at the gas cap there was a little white power there...looked like sugar so someone may have put sugar in the gas tank....going down next friday and we are tearing the motor apart find out what happened and why then go from there........really mad cause i just did the turbo swap and rebuilt the motor...had about 2000 miles on the engine and now i may have to replace the whole motor depending on the damage.....i will see what happens friday maybe the motor will just need to be rebuilt again...if so then i might as well port it.

Sugar has a hard time desolving in gasoline. Try it yourself with a tea spoon of granular sugar and say an ounce of gasoline.

If someone did that, then you have a strainer in the gas tank plus the fuel filter that filters out objects in the micro range (guessing micro range).

So, dump the gas in the tank and change the fuel filter out and have a go at it.

 

Not only that, but FCs have locking mechanisms to keep the fuel doors closed.

Is there a prymark by your fuel door?

 

Or they did it when the car wasn't locked...
