more mass is not always good but i haven't had any major catastrophes since i used them in my motor with 4K+ miles on it.

I believe that solid corner seals are only made for 3mm apex seals, which were found in earlier rx7's

Atkins sells solid corner seals for 2mm apex seals, they offer more surface area for larger ports and better sealing properties.

one downside is that they're supposed to not seal as well when starting... I'm thinking about going with them myself, and they definately do make ones for 2mm apex seals.

well i would definitely recommend premixing if you do to protect the side housings better for the added seal surface and wear characteristics of these seals.

in fact i always recommend premixing unless you utterly need to have your cat on at all times..

I've got the Atkins solids and they're working just fine for me.
