Ha ha, thread subject says FASTEST FC; you know thats not going to be any drag car as they are optomized for 1/4 mile. Who has swapped 3:90 rear in their modded TII or raised the redline significantly? Isn't it 178mph at 7800rpm rev limit? That is the only way your going to go any faster! Probably not what original poster meant though... I have to say Racing Beats FC Bonneville FC is the fastest I've seen. Ian

Drag racing has a larger scene now then road racing

Well its only heresay but I heard that mazdaspeed7's N/A is quick as ****. But Kabooski, Depending on what country you are in lexan windows make no difference. If you live in the U.S. the lexan windows do not matter. You don't even have to have windows in Texas or anywhere else that I've heard of. Sure not being able to put the windows dwn will make it hot, but it should still be streetable. Hell all the new Jeep Wranglers and the new tops for the old (hard and soft) have lexan windows.Personally my car is slow. its a stock '90 GTU. Just my two sense though. Check you guys later.

That's right, and most of you have been getting the terms all mixed up.
"Quickest" refers to quickest ET.
"Fastest" refers to highest MPH through the traps.

What is your list of mods, or do you have a link, and does anyone have a link/list for bambam also?

Mine is meek. Custom downpipe, Stuff removed, Stage 2 SP ( In progress ) ported upper and lower intake. Electric Fan, PR Sleeves, 2 Peice Apex's and the like. Still more to do ( Intake, Headers, Custom Cat-Back )

Pretty much BamBam ( From what I remember ) has a full exhaust, intake, and porting. Not to mention removal of his creature comforts ( Which I'm KEEPING ) Hopefully he'll see this, and post his full list.

Wait...

Wait a second guys, doesn't FWHP refer to Front Wheel Horse Power? Yet people use that for Fly Wheel Horse Power. Which I believe is SUPPOSED to be refered to as BHP. Correct? Someone chime in....

FWHP does refer to flywheel hp or hp at the crank. If FWHP meant front wheel horse power that is the same as RWHP just at different drive wheels. But with the performance craze I bet a lot of the front wheel guys do refer to their hp to the ground as FWHP eventhough the term has been used for years for flywheel hp.

*nod* the eclipse guys with GST's used to refer to it as FWHP (for front wheel HP) I'm advocating the use of xxWHP for anything other than Rear wheel drive cars. Since a VR-4 doesn't exacly make xxxRWHP

edit: some stupid/confusing spelling errors due to the late night...

IFastTII, your car looks great! I think I'll still lose you on the corners, though.

Oh crap...mine will still be the same old junk. Actually, I won't be able to make it to the Halloween cruise this year anyway. Going to school 1000 miles from home has its drawbacks.

N/a's were really never meant to be fast...they were built to take on the corners. However, they were only built for the United States and some other countries and all we like to do over here is drag. Though I have heard of as late with my contacts in Japan that last year over 200 N/a FC's were imported to Japan for drifters like myself who didn't like the doggyness of a turbo in the twisties. Who knows if that is right, just some info I heard. However a fast N/a would be doing 220 Hp +

although they did not produce N/A FC's in Japan there are plenty here. A lot of tuners have built NA 13b's. The shop where I work at happens to have a Honda with a NA 13b in it and we have a FJ race car that has a NA12a in it. I don't see a need to import more FC bodies when there is already an abundance and NA rotors and such are readily available.

its funny how when someone asks how fast someones car is everyone talks quartermile.......but I wont ramble on that dead horse now.

I have to get the education, or else I'll never make it onto the list of the fastest FCs.

I guarantee there are TONS more FC's road racing than drag racing. Go to any SCCA runoff ... you'll see swarms of FC's in ITS competition. That's just FC's. If we include 1st gens, there are billions of Spec7, IT7, ITA, and ITB road race cars running around.

Drag racers and the people who love the "sport" including the engine builders etc, have the largest mouths along with the The world rotates around my *** attitude.

I have seen this many times, dunno what it is about them? I am sure there are ALOT of people who like that sport who are not like this....just have not met any yet
