If you wanna go fast straight, get a different car, the torque curve on the 7 absolutely sucks for that....

In corners... my dog slow N/A smoked the **** out of a modded VR4.... they're VERY quick in the twisties.

How about learning how to drive the car? And a bone stock s4 is not that great in the turns. My moms god damn PT Cruiser can easily keep up with me, believe me.

I can take turns at 90+mph, but that is just because I am an insane driver. Do yourself a favor, get your engine rebuilt man, get it running back to specs, do a tune up, then DRIVE IT! Then buy yourself some coilovers, sway bars, and some really good tires, because you will need them. Oh, and make sure you have extra exterior body parts laying around at your disposal, you will need that to.

Oh, and a stock S4 NA, I have lost to a Chrysler Daytona ES with a single turbo. But I have beaten a WRX STI in the twisties, or I should say hung up with him in the twisties, taken on a 300zx TT, lost to some crazy *** hybrid turbo civic, and beat an Integra. Go figure.

Oh, and coilovers will probably cost more money than it was to buy your car.

I agree with that guy sway bars some good Toyo tires and maybe even a nice suspension kit never hurt anybody :P

FWIW, I've got a TII suspension (sways, struts, springs, brakes, knuckles, hubs, everything) under mine, with some mild camber adjustments (slots on the struts, etc) which is a little of why I handle well.. stock they're still better then your mom's minivan... err PT Cruiser... sorry to break it to ya bud. I'd love to see the skid pad comparo, especially as D-C dials 0 camber into those (they're just big neons in reality...) but anyway...

Tell that to the rumble bee I took on on the freeway last night, sure he was quicker but my N/A was able to get around what traffic and turns there was a heck of a lot quicker than that dodge could ever dream of.

Is your car stock? If so, then you're either full of bs or those guys really really really suck at driving, or are auto, or are broken.

Ok.. so its not stock, is your top speed really changing that much with the mods you've done? Are you really going to catch up with the S2k and wrx wagon if they were really pushing it? I'm still thinking no, but whatever you want to say is a.o.k. by me.

BTW, what exactly have you done?

Yah high speeds aren't really hard, it's all top end and top speed. I'm sure your top speed isnt *too* far off from theres so you *should* keep up as long as you all started fairly close together at a higher speed.

i have an 86 na with like 75 on the engine and 201000 on the car. the car defineltly isn't slow. by no means is it the fastest car around but no slouch. maybe it's just me i dunno but i feel as though my car is decent off the line. i have 2 and aquarter single exhaust. side piped its sweet. comes out right behind the drivers door. oh yea no cats just a 16.99 raptor muffler from vip. i also have wired 5th and 6th ports and sligtly smaller tires than stock with a limited slip. i feel as thoguh my car is pretty good off the line. i can take most all the lightly modded twin cam cars out there short of the vtecs and i can hang with them until about 85 90 ish. and my car handles like *** the rear struts are shot so she hopes all over the place. anyways the cars are great and can be very quik if you want to work with them. good luck
