So Pissed, Ill Ligh It On Fire!!!

Okay long story short part i had ordered from mazda is not the one i need and they dont make the one i need anymore!!! if i dont find a Back Up Light Switch for my 1987 turbo's transmission (it screws into the extension housing) im just going to light my car on fire!!! ive been working on this project for a while and now im screwed because of a part i cant find.

PLEASE HELP,

It used to have two prongs or "conectors" on it

No worries mate, parts finding the most fun/frustrating part of owning these cars. If you tried the dealer/Mazdatrix/Icemark's site hit uyp a junk yard, craigs, and teh calssifieds here. HAILERS has got you covered as far as elec. stuff, so PM him as well. If after all this you still can't find it/fix it, wire up a switch. Ghetto I know, but it works. Good luck

yea i have a 88t2 and it really was hard finding a switch and when i fianlly found one it didnt work and i was frustrated too. i got a small j-spec reverse light switch which is the one in your picture with the 2 studs coming out of it. a hot and lead . the OEM s4 t2 reverse light switches are alot bigger than the one you have btw. i got mine for $20 from local rx7 shop compared to trying to find the OEM one for $50 which i payed for from a junk yard and it didnt work..and there was no receipt and they denyed selling me it...********

pretty sure that the NA 5 speed Maita uses the same switch
