so, now I have an msd....

but how the hell do I hook it up??

I got a used msd box, it has 3 wires wrapped together with spade connectors, and then one smaller black one apart from the rest(I assume it is a ground?)
I just need to know what to hook up where.

If there are only four wires total then you probably won't be able to hook it up. You will need at least:

- 1 power to the battery
- 1 switched lead
- 1 ground
- 2 wires coming off of the coil
- 2 wires going back into the coil

Now that is the bare minimum as far as I know. I have a crane HI-6; but they are very similar. You should check for more wires, or a place for a plug that would have more wires.

So actually you need 6 wires instead of my 7. Your switched lead is just tied in with the + coil input, while mine has a separate wire.

Not sure if just any ignition will work with a rotary. You may be out of luck unless one of the electrical smarties can figure it out for ya! Sorry, I can't help.
