Question So... new project car, question?

Hey all, well I drive a turbo civic every day... but I have decided to stop putting all my money into it, and start with a better platform.. so I want to buy a project car. After looking through all of my possibilities, I have decided to go with a 2nd gen rx7.

My goal is to have a road racing car basically. Part of getting this RX7 was the intention of learning how to drift. I've never done it before and have been told by local drifters that these are good cars for it. Either way, if it cant be drifted, I'd like something to take the turns faster in, with some oversteer instead of this understeer **** I get from my FWD car. I feel like I need something RWD. My question is though.. what trim RX7 would I need to make it a competitive stock car platform? I've been looking for T-II's... but will the N/A ones have enough power and the handling capabilities to do what I want?

Thanks ahead of time.

If you are going to put some serious time and effort into this car, save your self ALOT of time and money and start off with a T2. It will be able to do everything you described very well.

Make sure you learn about the car befor you buy. There are many things to look out for when buying a 7.
