So.. my s5 idles at 2k

Oil seals are gone but besides that before the oil seal issue.

I did all work my self, Installed the following and did the following

Custom header, 2.25 pipe to some muffler. no cats.

Removed smog pump

Opened 6 port

block off plate

normal Intake with a filter nothing special
.

When I had the car this way, It idled normal at 800-900 somewhere around there, When I did these following things the Idle jumped up to 1200-1500 RPM and not steady It would jump around. the only way I got the Idle steady at like 1200 without jumping around was adjusting the tps screw pretty much all the way down.

Removed the butterfly things, not all of them the first ones

kept the thermowax In tact.

Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen I did these modifications

Opened vdi

Blocked off all other open nipples

I cut off a part of the rats nest so I could still run vacumm to my OMP jets.

Its still hooked up to the Intake tube and the back of the Upper Intake manifold.

the throttle cable Isnt the issue Ive checked It

Now the Idle Is at 2k RPM and rock solid steady. It doesn mis fire like crazy or anything. performance Is still there doesn't have any problems but that idle Is a little too much for the exhaust it has and cops and what not.

Any takers? Vacum leaks maybe?
