Jackchild: Your son and I probably have nothing in common in the way we were raised. Your reaction will not justify my invasion of privacy after sharing my past, so I will leave it at that. Re-read post #60, paragraph 2. There was no "choice".

I believe there is no reason to argue further as all of this is subjective, everyone has their own beliefs.
bottom line i work hard for what i have,
because of this my parents have come to expect certain things of me.
generally when there is the chance at which you can ruin everything you have
worked for in you entire life by one jail stay, i cant blame her for being the least bit upset.
so please if you will, stop calling this a redneck/white trash car bashing, it is purely based upon care and worry.

+1. I just had to post because reading this thread really pissed me off with peoples responses.

You're on an Rx-7 forum, so you will have a lot of people telling you to keep the seven. In my opinion, I'd narrow it down to the Civic and one other, being the 240, 7, or TA. This will allow you to put more money and attention to one vehicle than all three. Get the windshield fixed before you sell it. They don't cost that much, and you can sell the car for more.

Dude work out your car situation and then do your racing at the track, the rest of this belongs in the lounge.

*hands an ice-cold pepsi to Acesangual*

reading 4 pages of this, and i have not seen one bit of evidence that you even mentioned you're going to fight the ticket?

was the camera on?
were next to someone at the same light and happened to "accidentally" take off at the same time with the same tire "chirping" noise?

my questions are valid, and your situation is not.

if you want us to understand what you're going through, you wouldn't have a problem telling us EXACTLY what happened, and not hand-feed us bullshit.

what should you do?
get rid of the 240 and the TII, pay your fines, take a defensive driving course to lower your insurance. finish school, get a job, and for god-sakes MOVE OUT. then you can have the civic as a daily driver while you stack money looking for another FC or some other car that you wish to have.

Hurricane or no, it doesnt sound credible that the officer threw you in jail cause you "chirped" your tires and the city needs money after the hurricane so he saw you as prime target for some extra cash. But since you already agreed to pay the fines, we cant help you out much

Put up, shut up, do as we suggested, keep your mom happy, and always respect and fear her.

you've already gotten flamed enough for dragging this on for 4 pages.

start a new thread in the classified section to sell the car, and let this thread dwindle to nothingness.
