so im wondering if anyone can help me out on this one.

ive asked people a million times, and read the FAQ on numerous rx7 websites a million times, and stayed up till 4 in the morning a million times...

i cannot go past 3800 rpms. i do not have the 3800 rpm "stumble", the ****** effer wont even go past 3800 rpms. car has a rebuilt motor but it does have some miles on it. new fuel pump, new secondary injectors, new computer, cleaned up + added tons of grounds everywhere on everything, set timing and tps, ive done everything.... when i hit 3800 rpm no matter how much i push the pedal down the rpms stay the same. yes i do have exhuast but my 6pi are wired open. i have done rats nest/ air pump removal, and throttle body mod. the problem was occuring before i did all this so i know thats not hte problem. oh yeah. its an 86 base n/a. i mean i know what the problem is... my secondaries just arent coming online. but ****... the wiring harness is all good and everything. i checked the resistors box for the secondaries with an ohmeter and it spec'ed out good.

Use noid lights to check the injectors.

Check your AFM, make sure it is in spec. Check FPR and fuel pressure.

Maybe your CAS has something to do with it? Skewed?

hmm could be a few things imo. bad map sensor, bad maf, or bad ecu. if you have access to another known working of each part try swapping one out and see if its the cause of the problem . but what your describing sounds alot like the s5 limp mode . i had the same symptoms when i had a omp sensor go on me

i had this problem and after days worth of testing EVERYTHING it was the ecu.

kevin landers told me that i n one isolated case it was the tps- Ill bet everything its the ecu

if you have cats, maybe they're clogged. my brother's camaro had clogged cats. we gutted them and all was well. it had actually melted his egr valve so we blocked that off.

ive put another computer in to see if it would help and it didnt, i have no cats, no emmissions whatsoever... 6pi wired open, new fuel pump, new secondary injectors, only problem with noid lights is that the secondaries dont come on in neutral when you rev past 3800... so you cant really check them with niod lights unless i get a stupid buddy to ride on the front of the car with the hood up while going past 3800... **** i dunno. ive grounded everything, replaced everything.... just not helping. afm has to be good. because it runs good. and i did the s5 afm swap on my s4 and ran it like that for a week or so to see if it would help... same thing. and CAS puts out correct ohms when checked.
