now the car idles good but makes a clack sound when you rev it. its a random type sound. its not a pattern like evenly spaced clacks.

my turbo is leaking oil now so it needs to be pulled. Im hopeing i didnt pop the motor. i will pos compression asap. its dark now and i dont want to look at my car stuck at the bottom of my driveway.

i modded a car before getting it to run good stock.
i bought it with crap exhaust, so i got full turbo back...
injectors were bad so i got 2 new stockers for primarys and 2 680ccs for secondaries.
i got the hks fcon before i knew it was for stock injectors.

somone shoot me please! and to the noobs... dont be like me. make it stock FIRST! then go bigger slowly... please!

Sorry to hear the bad news. There are some good points made here though.

 

do the compression test......you might get lucky. If it idles ok then it might be something else. Post back with the compression numbers.

 

i just got home from work and its dark here.. i plan to check out the car tomarrow. compression test is first on the list.

my dad let me barrow his truck till i get my car "done" so if the enigne is good and the turbo is bad ill get a hybrid rebuild and if i can wait a month and a half or so i can go ahead and get a ems too. hybrid to4 and haltec here i come!

with a haltech maybe i can get the thing to be at least 90% reliable.

p.s. how come when iwas running that rich it didnt blow flames.. only smoked black when it backfired. thats straight gas it should go boom.
