So I hit a curb... HARD!

I got caught in streetcar rails and hit a curb that caused my right wheel to come right off, as well as some damage to the lights and electrical components with a few wires torn and a headlight busted.

When I parked the car, it wouldnt start again. It lights up,but no ignition.

Now i am wondering if this car, a convertible from US, has a built in alarm or did i blow an engine fuse like the EGI fuse.

Thanks for the help! I couldnt get a straigh answer from mechanics as once you mention that its a rotary engine they automatically claim ignorance.

Happy Holidays

Engine fuse probably blown due to a short. Check wiring, make sure any wires that are exposed are sealed and make sure all your wires are connected to the proper terminal.

something similar happened to me, and it was my engine fuse (located underneath the hood and not under the dashboard).

Right wheel you said, but which end, front or back...pics. will help us see which wires. Having said that, wires shorted and a fuse blown seem very likely.

Make sure you get the car checked out properly after you fix it suspension and steering wise.

I'm guessing the front of the car considering he said it busted the headlight?

Yes check out the suspension and steering! A sporadic right hand turn that you had no part in doing wouldn't be very fun! Nor would the whole car shaking like you were going over speed bumps.
