I sat in the back seat of a rex once, and I was actually shocked how much room there actually was back there. I was only mildly uncomfortable, there's WAY more room than there is in my friend's Geo Storm back seat.

I'm 6'3" btw

Hey, to anyone that has removed or installed the seats.... how difficult is it? I am not thrilled about them, but it would be convenient every now and again to put the kids in there....

I had a 7 with rear seats before and I called them "bucket seats"..... because it feels like your *** is in a bucket. it is soooooo small back there that it is cruel to put a freind in the back....especially with the two 8" bass tubes I had in that one. :-)

I think the 13 year old that the manual is refering to is NOT a 13 year old human being. I would venture to guess from the shape of the bucket of the seat that it was designed to transport cats or small dogs. Why did they make those things? I bought my FC vert cause I was tired of driving compact family cars (poke at the Civic, Accord...Non-EVO lancer, etc).

You need the storage space anyway . . .

Yeah, those seats are useless, unless maybe someone sat sideways on them. One time I had to take two other people on a ride and the unlucky one sat on the back deck with her feet under the back of the pushed-forward seat. She's only about 5' tall, so probably anyone taller than that would get neck cramps real quick.

The seats are wife pleasers, it is so you can say to the wife, "hey it's not that impractical, it even has rear seats" They are for show like a 6" exhaust tip is on a honda.

I fit 2 girls in the back w/o a seat too. Then again they were asian so they were nice and tiny. Little hands!

The trick to those 2+2 seats is to have the passenger sit sideways. Only slightly less painful.

I need rear 'seats' badly.

I have a black leather interior.. Id prefer black, but grey would work too, i guess.

If anyone has one, feel free to PM me!
