Curious not nosey. I see alot of posts with very nice specs on your rides. All said, what do you have invested in yours? Please specify n/a or turbo. These second gen are getting older so where is a reasonable limit to put into one?
Thanks for your input. New to the forum here. My main passion is and has been road racing bicycles in Va. But the old legs are tiring and looking for some fun without sweating profusely!

Thanks, Greg

90 TII.. I was scared to add everything up.. this is what i came up with $9000 maybe more, maybe less. that is not including the price of the car. The only thing that i have left to do, is a bigger turbo and a haltech.

1FastT2, about your rear lights....

Did the '87 come with them or did you change them. If so, where did you get them and how hard to change?
Thanks.

I'm rougly counting right around $25,000...

car 10,400
rims 1,000
1st engine 4,000
turbo upgrade 2,500
ecu 2,000
tuning 1,500
brakes 1,000
exhaust 900
stereo 600
gauges 500

This has been ongoing for the last five years... most of those numbers are just pretty quick, rough guesses... I spend too much money.

I put the lights and the spoiler on myself. I got the lights from a place called Sun Auto. They are an Rx-7 specific juckyard in Pa. They are on the web but I dont have an address, just do a search for Sun Auto Rx7.

Heard about it......

Erik,
I had a couple of friends do that ride. It's nasty. I've done a ride in Monterey that you would like. Mountain Mama. 104 miles, 10,000 feet of climbing, 9 mtns to cross, only no big mtn top finish. It'll leave a mark on you!
Later,
Greg

If you count up the 12+ tickets I got the first two years I was driving, and how much I gave to lawyers to keep me flyin. (including all the mods and repair bills) I could have bought a nice FD.

I think spent is a better word. 'Invest' might hint that you actually expect to get more $$$ back than you put in

The only payback you usually get is a big **** eating grin while you drive.
