Don't park it in a heated garage.

When all the salt and snow freeze to the car, it's really not *THAT* bad if you have a good wax job. (Don't get me wrong, I don't drive the 7 in the winter) When you park it in a heated garage, all that salty snow melts and salty water runs all over the car and into all seams. Do this every day, and you'll have a problem. That's why you see all those Lexus' and Bimmers with rotted sills and wheel arches. They go from their heated garage at home, to one at the office.

Lots of wax, and lots of washing and you should be ok.

Spray the under carriage with Cosmoline...It is a wax that seals out moisture..

Also, salt eats metal a LOT faster when it is warm. If you put your car in the garage (warm) the salt will eat it alive.
